The prosperity of Ninh Thuan tourism

Implementing the Resolution No. 04-NQ/TU dated August 31, 2021 of the
Provincial Party Committee's Standing Committee on developing Ninh Thuan
tourism into a spearhead economic sector in the 2021-2025 period with a vision to
2030. Through the first 6 months of 2022, Ninh Thuan Department of Culture,
Sports and Tourism has successfully organized and participated in many events:
activities and events to celebrate the 30 th anniversary of the re-establishment day of
the province associated with the 47 th anniversary of Ninh Thuan province's
liberation day and liberate the South to reunify the country; Conference to sign
Ninh Thuan - Lam Dong tourism development cooperation program in the period

of 2022-2025; The 18 th Ho Chi Minh City Tourism Festival in 2022; Successfully
organized the Ninh Thuan Tourism Promotion and Advertisement Conference in
Quang Nam and Ho Chi Minh City; Increasing the tasks of promotion, publicity
and tourism information on the media, newspapers, radio, etc. Continuing to
deploy smart tourism applications on mobile devices; Applying digital technology
to connect to support and boost the tourists’ experiences; Maximizing to use
electronic transactions in tourism activities.
The total number of tourists in the first 6 months of 2022 was estimated at
the 1,436,800 (increasing 27.9% over the same period, reaching 75.6% of the
plan); in which, the foreigner tourists working, on business in the province was
estimated at 4,940; domestic tourists are estimated at 1,431,860; Social income
from tourism activities is about VND 1,051 billion (increasing 48% over the same
period, reaching 75.1% of the plan). The number of visitors to the Ninh Thuan
tourism portal was 94,861 people. These are good signs for the prosperity of Ninh
Thuan tourism, overcoming the decline, recovering tourist growth, making Ninh
Thuan tourism activities adaptive and flexible, contributing to implement the goal
of developing tourism into a spearhead economic sector of the province.
