From Phan Rang-Thap Cham, follow National Highway 1 in the direction of Nha Trang about 15km, then turn right about 2km, you will meet the dill flower garden, Bac Son commune, Thuan Bac district. The flower garden becomes a fever check-in point for locals and tourists when coming to Ninh Thuan every spring.

Dill flower, a spiced vegetable in dishes, puts on a poetic beauty with a characteristic aroma that makes visitors fall in love every time they visit the flower garden.

Dill Flower is from a fairy tale.

“Dill” reminds us of a fairy tale about how God brought together all the plants and trees to give each species a name. There were many vegetables and grasses, begging for God to provide them with a beautiful name. Finally, all the plants have their name; suddenly, a small vine rushed to God and asked for any name. God thought for a while and still couldn’t come up with a name, so he hesitated:

- Your name is … hmm is … hmm is …

The vine heard that and happily shouted:

- Oh, I have a name! My name is Dill!

(“hmm is” is pronounced similarly to “Dill” in Vietnamese)

And since then, that name has been kept to this day.

This year, visitors will experience the bright yellow beauty in the sunshine of January days coming to the dill flower garden this year. In the middle of the vast space, the small beautiful golden flowers are even more attractive. Not only has the striking, beautiful colour, the fennel flower also emits a gentle, faint scent.
