On February 17, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Ninh Thuan province held a conference to announce the Ninh Thuan tourism development project for 2021 - 2025, with a vision for 2030. Attending the meeting was Mr. Nguyen. Van Bien, Member of Standing Committee of Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of Ninh Thuan Provincial People's Committee; Mr. Nguyen Van Hoa, Provincial Party Member Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Ninh Thuan province; representatives of leaders of the Departments, departments, branches, People's Committees of districts and cities of the province; leadership representative of Ninh Thuan Tourism Association; businesses in the province and representatives of leaders of units under the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Ninh Thuan province.

At the conference, Ms. Pham Thi Thanh Huong, Deputy Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, announced Decision No. 555/QD-UBND, dated October 3, 2021, of the People's Committee of Ninh Thuan province on approval. Ninh Thuan Tourism Development Project in the 2021 - 2025 period, with a vision to 2030 and a brief presentation of the contents of the Ninh Thuan Tourism Development Project in the 2021 - 2025 period with a vision to 2030. To attract tourists, the province focuses on developing four specific tourism products, including resort tourism to experience the sea; cultural tourism (especially Cham cultural heritage); High-tech agriculture; eco-tourism associated with Nui Chua National Park. Along with that is the development of 4 new products: discovery and entertainment of sand-salt; semi-wild hunting; rail travel experience; nursing and health care and four complementary products are community tourism; entertainment and cuisine; visit renewable energy production; tourism trade. Total tourism investment is expected to be about 75,538 billion VND. Of which, 49,287 billion VND is new investment capital, about 79 billion VND from the state budget, and the rest is social capital.

Within the conference framework, the meeting participants also had discussions to propose options and solutions to implement the tasks presented by the Scheme effectively.

Speaking at the conference, Mr. Nguyen Long Bien, Standing Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of Ninh Thuan Provincial People's Committee, suggested that departments, branches, localities, and business community deploy tourism development activities following the spirit of tourism development, following the Spirit of Resolution No. 04-NQ/TU dated August 31, 2021, of the Provincial Party Committee's Standing Committee on developing Ninh Thuan tourism into a spearhead economic sector in the 2021-2025 period with a vision to 2030; closely and synchronously coordinate with departments, branches, localities and the business community to effectively implement the contents and tasks of the Ninh Thuan tourism development project in the 2021-2025 period, with a vision to 2030; review solutions to ensure safe, flexible adaptation, effective control of the COVID-19 epidemic, maximum protection of the health and lives of people and visitors; exploit potentials and advantages to promote tourism recovery and development; focus on solutions to develop tourism to become a key economic sector of the province by 2025;

Support and remove difficulties for businesses and people participating in tourism activities; concretize and implement the Provincial Plan from 2021 to 2030, with a vision to 2050 right after it is approved; effectively implement the resolutions, schemes, directives, policies... of the province promulgated, implement three breakthrough stages, five critical tasks according to the Resolution of the 14th Provincial Party Congress. proposed, in which strengthening the inspection and removing difficulties and obstacles in the implementation process to promptly direct to ensure compliance with local realities; focus on solutions to accelerate the disbursement of public investment capital, speed up the implementation of national target programs, and speed up the performance of critical projects, especially key tourism projects of the province in the year 2022; strengthen the application of information technology in operating management, business administration, promoting the digital transformation process in the field of tourism; focus on definitively solving the work of sanitation and environment, preserving the urban landscape, contributing to the development of Ninh Thuan tourism into a spearhead economic sector. The Provincial Tourism Association is responsible for presiding over and coordinating tourism service businesses to closely follow the provincial Scheme to effectively implement and turn Ninh Thuan tourism into a tourist destination.
