900 billion VND bond for Phan Rang SunBay Park Hotel & Resort
Last week, Crystal Bay Tourism Group submitted a prospectus to the State Securities Commission on the fact that Crystal Bay and Ninh Thuan SunBay Joint Stock Company (a subsidiary of Crystal Bay Group) have actively arranged sources through the corporate bond issuance channel with VNDIRECT Securities Joint Stock Company (issuer, underwriting, registration and depository organization) for Phan Rang SunBay Park Hotel & Resort.
Specifically, on May 17, 2022, SunBay Ninh Thuan issued a second bond package worth 900 billion VND with three different bond codes (terms of 3 years, 5 years and 6 years). These are all non-convertible bonds, without warrants, secured by assets. The purpose of use is for SunBay Ninh Thuan Joint Stock Company to complete building B and building C of SunBay Park project.
Previously, on December 23, 2021, Crystal Bay issued the first bond package for SunBay Park worth 800 billion VND with a term of 3 years with a compound interest rate (first 12 months from the issuance date: Fixed interest rate of 9.5%/year; from the 13th month to the maturity date: Floating interest rate but not lower than 9.5%/year).
Starting construction at the end of 2019, two towers of B (48 floors) & C (40 floors) of the 5-star beach resort entertainment complex SunBay Park have been completed by Crystal Bay and construction partners, furniture installation has reached 85% of the proposed work schedule.
In October 2022, Crystal Bay would receive handover from the general contractor Delta for two towers B & C and would be expected to officially put into operation in December with 2,000 5-star hotel rooms.
The successful issuance of this bond package by Crystal Bay and its subsidiary demonstrated its commitment to ensuring the progress of putting SunBay Park into operation. This event once again strengthens investors' confidence in the capacity and ability to implement projects of Crystal Bay and its partners as well as the recovery and growth of tourism after Covid-19.
