About 15km from Phan Rang - Thap Cham City (Ninh Thuan Province), located in the north, the coastal tourist route of Vinh Hy - Binh Lap is famous for its charming scenery, many bays, beautiful and pristine beaches.
Considered as "a road connecting two provinces", the starting point will start from Ninh Chu Beach (Ninh Thuan), go along the sea along provincial road DT702 and end at Binh Lap Peninsula (Khanh Hoa).
This distance of more than 50km, leaning against Nui Chua National Park, facing the East Sea, will take tourists through many famous landmarks.
Not only enjoying the wild scenery, when coming there, tourists can visit Thai An Vineyard, Vinh Hai Commune (Ninh Hai District) to personally harvest grapes and try grape nectar, wine, and grapes with reasonable price.
There, the people are very hospitable and enthusiastic to guide the pruning of grapes if tourists have a need.
Ms. Yen Dan (Hanoi) excitedly said that when she first came to Ninh Thuan, she found the scenery there very beautiful, the grapes were delicious and the people enthusiastically guided to cut each bunch of grapes, she liked it very much.
Through all the green vineyards, tourists will come to the landscape of Hang Rai Beach, a wonder of nature given to Nui Chua National Park.
This is actually a huge coral reef surrounded by a rock park, when the waves hit and recede along the slope, forming a magical flow, a true "waterfall on the sea".
Another special thing is that on the coral beach, there are countless niches of rock, becoming natural swimming pools.
Hang Rai is a new place recognized by the People's Committee of Ninh Thuan province as an eco-tourism destination in 2015.
Currently, Hang Rai has been exploited for tourism by the Management Board of Nui Chua National Park and sold entrance tickets. Fees collected are used for conservation and sanitation costs.
In addition, tourist can discover more about the Nui Chua World Biosphere Reserve, which has just been recognized by UNESCO.
Nui Chua complex was recognized by UNESCO as a world biosphere reserve in September 2021, with a total area of 106,646.45ha, fully converging three spaces: forest, sea, semi-desert, is the only standard sample of the typical and unique dry forest ecosystem of Vietnam and Southeast Asia.
Nui Chua World Biosphere Reserve is the "common home" of more than 1,511 species of plants (of which 54 species are recorded in the Vietnam Red Book and the World Red List (IUCN), 765 species of animals (including 46 rare species listed in the Vietnam Red Book and the World Red List).
Especially, Nui Chua is also a rare place where many rare and precious animals of international importance such as sea turtles, black-shanked douc, and Selangor silvered langurs are preserved and strictly protected.
Leaving Nui Chua National Park and Hang Rai Beach, toursits continue to move to Vinh Hy tourist village. From above, visitors can see the whole Vinh Hy Bay with fishermen's houses hidden in the foliage, or hidden deep behind the coconut trees.
All scenery is curved along the curve of the length of the beach. Boats are like lying on a blue carpet of the sea. This is also the interesting thing that the coastal road brings.
One side is green with the color of seawater; the other side is green with the eyes of forest trees creating a beautiful "blue road". One of the highlights of DT702 road is that visitors will pass a series of pristine beaches in emerald green, from unknown beaches, to Chuoi Beach, Kinh Beach, Nuoc Ngot Beach...
Tran Thanh Duy, a "traveler" from Binh Duong, feels: "The coastal road of Vinh Hy - Binh Lap is beautiful, the surrounding scenery is very strange. This route is unique with the sea, mountains, forests and wild and interesting streams, suitable for groups of young people who love to explore and those who have an "interest" in photography.
