As one of the four most beautiful bays in Vietnam, Vinh Hy still retains its original and rustic beauty, which fascinates any visitor.
Before entering the crowded summer tourist peak, I chose to set out to explore the land of Vinh Hy in the early days of June, when the weather was still pleasant.
Vinh Hy Bay is located in the middle of Vinh Hy Village, Ninh Hai District. This place stands out with a majestic landscape complex including surrounding white sand beaches, towering rocky mountains and murmuring streams weaving between green forests.
My friends and I chose to travel from Phan Rang to Vinh Hy by car with a guide to comfortably explore. During the journey of more than 40 km, the driver introduced us about places to visit, check-in, and people’s life on the bay...
The first stop we chose was also one of the most famous check-in places there - Vinh Hy coastal road.
After that, our group continued the schedule of canoeing to the bay to see the coral. It was mid-morning, the sun was already high and the heat was starting to get more intense.
Talking to residents on the bay, I learned that Vinh Hy is also the most rugged sea in Vietnam with diverse coral reefs, mysterious caves under the ocean.
Coral viewing is the most anticipated activity. There are two options: see the coral with a transparent glass bottom boat or scuba dive to see firsthand the magical coral reefs, with schools of colorful fish under the clear sea.
After strenuous activities, we rested, had lunch and regained our spirits for the afternoon to continue exploring.
The next place we went was Hang Rai Beach. Referring to Vinh Hy is referring to Hang Rai, where is famous for its structure of naturally stacked rocks.
A natural scene of both wild and majestic appeared before my eyes, when white waves hit the rocks.
