Ninh Thuan: Exploring Tour to the Ong Mountain - the sacred mountain of the Raglai ethnic people community in Nui Chua National Park

Referring to Nui Chua National Park, surely visitors cannot deny that there are many beautiful and pristine beaches that are classified as "rare" of Vietnam, where the majestic Nui Chua Mountain contains its own values, different from the trekking roads in other regions. But Nui Chua not only has such things, there is another mountain with equally challenges to the North East of Nui Chua, which is Ong Mountain - the sacred mountain of the Raglai ethnic people community in Nui Chua National Park.

Exploring Tour to Ong Mountain - the sacred mountain of the Raglai ethnic people community in Nui Chua National Park: (2 days 1 night)

Day 1:

Morning:       - Trekking length: 3 km

                        - Trekking time: 3 hours

6h00: Visitors have your own breakfast, then you will depart for Hang Rai Beach to watch the dawn, visit the ancient thousand-year coral reef, unique waterfall on sea – a check-in place not to be missed when coming to Hang Rai...

8h00: Gathering at the Center for Environmental Education and Environmental Services, visitors see the tour guide and get acquainted with the other members of the team (Forest Rangers, Porter). Then visiting the template room, tour guide generally introduces the Nui Chua National Park, the itinerary of the journey and the notes when participating in the program, re-checking baggage, and warming up before the trip.

Visitors depart for Cau Gay Village to explore and interact with the local community, starting the journey to explore Ong Mountain. The group starts the journey by moving along Lo O Stream, crossing locals’ mountain fields, passing through thorny bushes or challenging your strength when climbing a slope of thousands of meters long. Visitors stop at the source of Lo O Stream to take a bath, have a picnic lunch, and take a rest.

Afternoon:    - Length of trekking: 6 km

                        - Time trekking: 3.5 hours

13h00: Visitors continue the journey, cross the typical forest models of Nui Chua National Park. Visitors together cheer on each other with stories of daily life, interesting stories of mountains and forests. Then stopping at the foot of a small stream on the mountain, and setting up camp. Having dinner with homemade food dishes and throwing away all the worries of life into the quiet night by the campfire.

Day 2:

Morning: - Length of trekking: 8 km

                  - Time of trekking: 5 hours

5h30: Visitors wake up to move and watch the dawn on the top of Ong Mountain. With the cold of the early morning, looking through the misty fog with a vision that covers all views of Vinh Hy, Binh Tien and Cam Ranh Bay will be a worthy reward for the efforts of the whole team through a long journey full of hardships and challenges. Visitors then return to the campsite for breakfast, pull the camp and go back to Cau Gay Village. Visitors wull have a lunch picnic along the stream.

Afternoon:

14h00: Visitors arrive in Vinh Hy Village, you can choose to visit Vinh Hy Bay by renting a glass bottom boat to visit the bay, watching coral or diving. Reward yourself with a seafood party at Coc Beach inside the bay (self-sufficient cost or contact the Center to book a service). There is another service that tourists can visit Thai An Grape Village to take photos with the succulent bunches of grapes or cut the bunches of grapes yourselves, and buy local specialty products as gifts for your beloved ones.
