Ca Du Mountain is located in the middle of a large plain, next to National Highway 1A in Ninh Hai district, Ninh Thuan province. Thanks to this terrain, from the early days of the Can Vuong movement, the insurgents chose Ca Du mountain as a base against the French. Also, reconnaissance teams, armed units, and revolutionary cadres during the years of the resistance war against the US have stayed and built a fighting base. With so many historical meanings, on April 16, 1999, the People's Committee of Ninh Thuan province issued a decision to recognize Ca Du mountain as a revolutionary historical relic of the province.
