Ca Na traditional fish sauce - A unique feature of Ninh Thuan cuisine

Ca Na fish sauce production village is located next to National Highway 1A, in Phuoc Diem commune, Thuan Nam district, about 30km south of Phan Rang-Thap Cham city. Ca Na fish sauce has long become one of the famous brands of the country, with a delicious taste, pure saltiness that few places have.

With the favor of nature, every year, Ca Na fishers catch tons of seafood, mainly anchovies. This is the source of raw materials for processing local traditional fish sauce. Besides, Ca Na salt has high quality, which is very convenient for processing conventional fish sauce.

In making delicious fish sauces, the people who make fish sauce here pay special attention, choosing raw materials for anchovies that are both fresh and large. Mixed, aged in jars or large wooden barrels with acceptable salt harvested over a year and a half. The incubation time must be from 12 to 24 months to be delicious enough to be used.

Coming to Ca Na, in addition to visiting a fish sauce-making village, visitors can also see a fishing port with lots of fresh seafood, white salt fields, a romantic beach, and a beautiful coastal defense road. /.
